Transformers: Dark of the Moon (3D)

Oooh, Transformers (the robots in disguise) in 3D? Yes, I will take some of that! Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and the likes just as they should be! So I hear this is Shia LaBeuof’s last outing as Sam Witwicky which is a pity really as his character works well for the movie. His reasons for leaving are because “I don’t have to act much” so obviously blockbuster movies and hanging out with actors like Patrick Dempsey and Josh Duhamel aren’t appealing…yeah, I guess I can see where he is coming from…I mean, who in their right mind would want to be in the same room as two very appealing actors like that…? My question is though, if there is to be a fourth, which it’s open enough to, will we have another actor playing Sam or will we have a completely different lead character all together? I await to see!

Anyway, the plot is good. And as always there is a huge battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons which takes place on our home planet. Maybe bringing Cybertron a little closer would be a good idea or for us humans to rid our world of those robots we have taken on as allies…of course this is going to lead to utter chaos.

Probably the best of the three and with John Malkovich in it and also featuring the voice of the great Leonard Nimnoy it would have been a 9 out of 10 for me. However, due to the technical hic-ups experienced at Cineworld, Crawley about half an hour into the film it loses half a mark of having to endure the first half hour again because it decided to start itself again. Hmm, think the decepticons may have had a hand in that somewhere… Final score 8.5 out of 10.
